But they want to make sure that at the end of this day the person's not leave the United States. And the one way people do remain in the United States are doing and run around a lot of immigration laws as they come on a visitor visa and they married a US citizen. And so this is the main thing that the state department is concerned about when they have someone sitting across the table from them at the embassy trying to decide whether or not they get. Visit visa is this person going to come back home. And go back to their lives in their home country. So if you operate in that mindset if you operate from that point of view of the state department think. Do yourself. Order some ways that I can demonstrate.
That the relative intends to go back to their home country. And the best way to do that is to document and demonstrate a secure life back in the home country so for instance. Let's say that we have someone who's. Because I want to come visit from primary now if this person is 25 years old and unmarried maybe working a part time job back in Peru it's gonna be very difficult to demonstrate that that Peruvian. It's going to go back to their home country. Now if they can show significant ties like owning property or having a bank account or having a business or working real for an employer those the kinds of things that can show that the person that I go back home sometimes it's just as simple as making a written promise. To show that they will indeed go back to their home country. So that's one way we can do another thing we can do is demonstrate the person's gonna be supported in the United States by a loved one so if the US citizen or. Lawful permanent resident of the Peruvian word of make some kind of written promise to make sure that the individual goes back home recurring I think that goes a long way.
Towards demonstrating. Non immigrant intent and that's what we're talking about here we want to demonstrate nonimmigrant. At the end of the day we can't control what they do there's not an appeals process and so he have anyone who's promising you oh yeah I get a visit visa just give me some money not the carrot for you. I would be very circumspect and very worried about that. I think you have to ask yourself is a realistic and I'm gonna be able to demonstrate that this loved one.
