Travel Lisbon

Ennoble the final stop of a European tour and we could have chosen a better destination the city immediately won us over with it's cheery past old buildings delicious fresh seafood that is unique mix of attractions. It also didn't hurt that we had clear blue skies the whole week we were there.

Travel Lisbon
Travel Lisbon

The following post will highlight 20 things to do in Lisbon and we hope it will give you a few ideas. Some of the sites is beautiful city how. To offer. The. Our first stop of the day without shoulders castle which is an old Morrish fortification that sits on a hill overlooking Lisbon and the Tagus river. You can get some nice panoramic views of the city from here and they also have peacocks roaming the grounds. The. And. Miller Doro dusk Porto still soul is one of the many local points in Lisbon that offers postcard perfect views of the city.

This particular terrace overlooks the Alabama district and it is always popular with tourists. Karma is a medieval convents that was ruined during the 1755 earthquake and today it is used as an archaeological museum. It's a strange feeling walking down the ruined nave of the church and seeing blue skies above your head but that's exactly what makes it worth the visit. Good morning from Lisbon that we needed some Portugal and cities are first day out sightseeing and our first order of business had to be. Food of course.

They were at. Trying. This and this is called. Steve did not though or busty cybelar em. And it's basically an egg custards hards. And it looks absolutely delicious. We originated over at the geronimus. Scary which is just over there and we're going to show you that leader and it was a recipe created by the monks. So it looks like they were good bakers guys creating tasty looking. So we pick these up from the original store where they were first produced and it was absolute chaos inside. It's something that's really cool is that the first time we ever tried these was actually in Asia where where Macao. A former Portuguese settlement.

Yes and you can find these in Brazil Hong Kong anywhere in the Portuguese one. Yeah exactly but now it's time to add. This. Sorry little tart move what we have here is we have a pack of cinnamon and icing sugar yes said so that's going to give it an extra sweet kick blood sprinkled out on. A. For it but never with icing sugar and cinnamon so I think it's going to be extra special. The winning combo. Well it's not as. Well. Still warm fresh out of the oven. It's really nice level of. I really like this because sometimes when you have an attorney. It tastes like cook day and that's just wrong desert should not like I. But this is like a really nice creamy custard very sweet it's his like a proper deserve. About being. So like I mentioned earlier in this recipe originated in the Jonas monastery. And this. Because apparently monasteries and convents used a lot of egg whites in order to start their clothes.

Don't ask me how this is done because I've never used egg whites to search my clothes but apparently this meant they had a lot of egg yolks left over and that's how they started baking and created this wonderful recipe which was eventually sold to the pastry shop where we picked up for egg tart so we're having the original recipe that the monks came up with. Another place to visit it's belum power with towers built on the banks of the Tagus river and it was meant to act as both the defense system and a ceremonial gateway into lifting. A. I mean we have the monument to the discoveries which celebrates the age of seafaring and discovery between the fifth. Steve said. And there are lots of famous explorer is the future. A closer look. The geronimus monastery is one of the most visited sites in Lisbon. It's also one of the best examples of late gothic manual in architecture so have a close look at the intricate detail in when you visit.

Really cool thing that we've noticed about Lisbon is that there's a big kiosk culture and you can find the subtle kiosks in almost every park you go to ensure you fine people just hanging out enjoying insuring capping a little snack and it seems to be a popular afternoon Palestine so we're gonna go to a little kiosk is woven into a little something something. A. The. Now. A. And the. And. For a different view of Lisbon consider taking a fair to the other side of the Tagus river you'll get some great shots of the city and it's a really pleasant ride especially if you lock code with blue skies and sunshine. It is lunch time here in Portugal and city we took the ferry over from Lisbon to conceal us and this is a great place to eat seafood because we're right by the Tagus river and fresh seafood is available at every single restaurant so we found a local little spot Sam has ordered salmon and I've ordered how bits so we're waiting for that to arrive in them initially supported the seafood. Surfing has finally arrived so it's time to take a tour of the place public here this is my how about cooked on the grill and we've got broccoli carrots and boiled potatoes with olive oil on top looks delicious ready to the. Nice fresh holiday.

Really juicy and so good with the lemon scored on top. It's a really nice like this. That's good because I've been snacking all morning so I could have made a late lunch at this point. But look at the it's nice and golden but still juicing the inside. Really good. And I also really like the. For 2. So I feel like I'm being. Neighbors are just. When you pour all. And for a. I. You seem to have a monster meal right in front of you tell us what you get. Yeah hi got the state. Take a look down here he. And I've been having this. Every. Her eyes. It's my favorite thing to. Portugal for sure I know it's so good that we can get sick of it and look at the site.steep like it almost minutes about. Apparently. The only difference between our 2 plates is that you had. Teams are boiled vegetables and I have like a little garden salad over here so let's listen hoping that highs onions carrots little bit of cabins. But the front me does this is the reason. Took the ferry across the river for fresh fresh. My first bike. You. Home. Well that was it worth the ferry ride over. Yeah. Never will I fear. Casillas lies on the south bank of the Tagus and it was once a quiet fishing village.

It makes for a really nice teacher and they have some great restaurants serving up fresh grilled seafood to bring your appetite. And. IGN a fun way to get around Lisbon's hilly streets is by writing the trams. They're different lines across the city but number 28 is the most popular one with visitors. A. WNED other scenic look at Lisbon that you can visit the salt Petre Dale concert a lookout. Here you'll get some nice use of that include the castle. A. New Augusta is a lively pedestrian street offers a mix of shopping in rest. Keep in mind that the prices can be a little higher. Areas primarily geared at. The Congress plaza is another 1 of those iconic sites in the city it was once home to the Riviera palace which was sadly destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. There are a few little cafes on the fringes of the square...

Nquire alone poor is the largest and most influential city of Malaysia a population of malaise Chinese Indians and others from around the world makes the city a melting pot of coexisting cultures that each preserves their own customs traditions and cuisines. The mixture of ethnicities ancient architecture and modern skyscrapers and most importantly the mouth watering food makes Kuala Lumpur a fantastic city to visit now let's start with these 11 things to do in Kuala Lumpur.

Travel Kuala Lumpur
Travel Kuala Lumpur

Nothing dominates the skyline and screams quality import more than the monster twin towers which come in at number one. No I am at the base of the petronas towers these are by far. The most. It marks. City. Ground level as that is a big. Being sent there. And then. Actually go. Through the morning I think in the morning first lord something like. And there's this. Great. We can get a great view of. There. There's a beautiful park right next. Sharon S. towers. That has some. Best. In town things I've ever seen in my life.

Number 2 is the historical district of old central Kuala Lumpur be area makes a great place for walking tour despite all the modern skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur there's still a historic area. Just near the old railroad station. I'm doing a little walk around. See some of the most historical. Some of the most prized buildings in Balham more. One of them. Where would you. It's home to. 5 meter flagpole. Among the tallest in the entire world.

Number 3 is the menorah kale tell. 421 meters and. The insanely tall commute. Howard touches the have been. Dino the sky restaurant or just admire the unbelievable panoramic. From the top. On the top of that kale Anarak powers. At some absurd height appear. Scared out of my mind. To sit on this like belt buckle the idea. Strapped in.

So I don't fall off number 4 is little India. Known better as. Hey I'll have a lot of Indian areas of town. But the area brickfields. Is known as the largest little India. In call of import brickfields is home to Hindu temples. Small food markets. Stores selling saris and other Indian clothing and attempting collection of mostly self Indian restaurants. I personally go there for the food. Number 5 located on Petaling street and popular with both locals and tourists. Is quality pours Chinatown. I am in Chinatown on cuddling shrieked dad. All. Close. I mostly clothes shoes. What's your. Handbags. I mean he needs all kinds of stuff like that. There are also lots of restaurants. More on this street and. On the streets surrounding. Area time. I. Yeah.

Number 6. Yeah how China. Built by the high. Unity in KL. Dallas temple is dead. How goddess. And we mother. I am at. Yeah and how Chinese temple it was built on the side of a hill so. And the huge Chinese temple but then you also have a view of all of them were on the other side. N't. Central market. Also known as pasar seni is number 7.

At one point it was the original central market of the city. Hot today I think it's a little bit touristy insights. But it is a good place you're looking to purchase. Souvenirs Malaysians souvenirs. Or a good place to browse around for a little while so that central market number 8 is.

Kael lake gardens. Kael bird park which. Includes the world's largest in flight aviary. For bird lovers it shouldn't be messed. Okay I'll wait gardens right now walking around. Very nice scenery and also if you're interested there is the Gilbert park. Hale mouse deer park. Butterfly part. And I biscuits gardened orchid garden you name it. All right in this area he'll wait gardens.

Number 9 is the but to caves. So I made it to the bottom caves it's located just 13 kilometers from the center of kale and is one of the most sacred Hindu religious sites outside of India. The 272 steps to the top is an easy climb that's rewarded with a gorgeous cave filled with Hindu religious shrines. At the bottom of the cave you'll find a series of vegetarian restaurants where you can replenish your calories after the climb.

Number 10 is the central Chow kit wet market. It's one of the largest pressure wet markets in the city. And they. A lot of my. Salute favorite. Let. We. Here in the late fees. Are available and how. There's also always a delicious array of fresh try. As well. Did you really think I'd and this list of things to do in Kuala Lumpur without adding food as an attraction for myself and most local Malaysians as well it's all about the food. And when you visit Kuala Lumpur your mouth is going to rejoice with the diverse selection of melee Chinese and Indian food available. Travel Kosovo

Hello and welcome to Kosovo. Then open most people are thinking of places to go and visit possible is not high on the list. However don't let its reputation put you off. Behind me is the capital city. Stina and has a lot to offer the Davis into. So I want you to come with me and I'll show you a few things that you can see within walking distance of the city center if you're only here for a few hours or just a day or 2 strip. To give you a flavor of possible really trust. Because of the. To get here most people will leave the flight Prishtina.

Travel Kosovo
Travel Kosovo

Skull face Macedonia and then think about the good Prishtina yeah. If you choose to get here the place they had fought his mother to raise a street right in the heart of the city. As a pedestrian area. It's very popular with families and is often advance on here. Sometimes just concerts in summer. But there's always a happy code people wandering around just eating popcorn people watching. So here we are outside the National Library of Kosovo. This is about 5 minutes walk from the center if time so you know it's an easy place to come and see. And it's one of the most unusual buildings you will fight not just in Kosovo but anywhere I mean look at fleet of you ever seen anything like that before. It's basically a bunch of concrete blocks.

Covered in soot chain mail. Hats on the toll and the flight but cement actually represent hats of Albanian. Ethnic. From around here so. Make up your own mind what you think of the building for me I really quite like it. Right next door to the life of the. Old orthodox church knows just the shell from you. Go inside. But if it's still an interesting building to see it's right in the center of Pristina and access to a bit of a reminder of some of the more recent events that went on here.

So we're still basically in the same place right next to the National Library. Show the orthodox church over there and a third place to come and see is a national art gallery. It has exhibitions from not just local people from all over Kosovo predict how some international exhibitors as well who come and show off their work here. It's well worth the visit. Closed on a Monday I believe that open every other day of the week. If you steal it isn't one of the most beautiful city. Is in the water there's a law building what can re construction going on. And like all cities that has a hustling. Links and click to. But within a few minutes walk it's quite easy to escape back. To one of its many parks and that's where we'll head off to. So here we are just 2 minutes from the city center I'm in the middle of this beautiful city park. Filled with trees is very popular for people to come with the families at the weekend just sit and hang out.

Certainly if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life then look no further 2 minutes walk and you're here. So far we've come from Mother Teresa street right in the heart of this. City. Taken a short walk up to see the National Library. The old orthodox church which was never completed. The national art gallery and then we took a short walk over to city park. Another place I was really hoping to show you was the city mosque it's the biggest impish dina. This in part of the old time opposite the famous clock tower which also wanted to show you. But my camera packed him when I was there. So all I have to show you some photos I took during an alien visit which was asked on buying them. So I was up very and in the morning with them for this and it was really worth the effort damn it was a wonderful friendly family atmosphere I was made to feel very welcome. And then I had a nice opportunity to take these photos.

So now on to the last place I'd like to show you which is a little bit farther from the city center but it is well worth it because it's a really nice place. Spend their end of the day and watch the sun go down. So here we are and Rugova's park it's named after the first president of Kosovo Ibrahim Rugova who is buried in the grave behind me here. There is a very popular part for people to bring their families at the weekends. And it has a very nice atmosphere because of that it also has some views overlooking the time and it's a nice place to end the day to walk up here and see some of the stunning sunset so you can decide times a year. And it's a little bit farther away from the center but half an hour walk but it's well worth the trip.

Bing Travel

Hi welcome to another living radically post us part 2 of 3 on how to find a cheap flight or how to fight it. Airfare any. Last time we talked about kayak.com today and then we talk about being trapped. And what he's been for so without further ado let's get started and I'll show you what I do okay so here we are at being I will show you a 2 main features 2 main ways I use being.

Bing Travel
Bing Travel

This is really to determine the question of when now I know from kayak which what someone use which dates I wanna use I. which airlines I wanna use which airport seventies I know all the what I know I need to know the way as in should I buy my tickets now or should I wait layer is an age old question do efforts go up in no time 5 by now am I gonna be losing out because if it is going to drop I later on down the line this actually allows me a way to tell if I should buy now or buy later it's with a few ways I use being.

I would put in city pairs of some dates here. And one adult that I won a nonstop this is to really let me know if I buy now are faced on going up later on so this is a section in relation price predictor building my prediction says I should by now. This basically means there's gonna be rising subtly as I get closer to the date of the partial I selected which is. Think. As 72 percent confidence does produce pretty confident this is gonna happen. Our that's all I really wanted to know sometimes gonna say fares could be staying steady sometimes says wait there's going to be dropping by 50 or $100. So this is really something I use what I have already laid out way Terry in my deeds pretty confidently but I need to know if I should wait to buy my tickets or if I should buy them right now. Let's go on to the other option for the other ways being.

So sometimes I do use their of things flexible search feature they have some cool ways of displaying information that kai doesn't also I'm a humanist like my departure city. Which is Los Angeles. And we have some pretty cool information scientists of these are fares from Los Angeles to all these different cities around the world and it's going to show you just the lowest fare that was found there was available yesterday. And it so if I just know for example that a Hey I wanted to. I I didn't know I wanted to go but I I do I know I go somewhere this is kind of a good way to browse improves and seen the say.

Hey is there a good friend section pretty good fair to roll right over here. I mean you want to go to Rome for these doublets Hillary give you the days of this without. It's pretty interesting you. So the other one to do is when the travel so let's say I know my departure city and I know that I want to go to New Orleans. This can tell me the best times for me to depart this is pretty cool kind does this is well using a calendar view that we saw earlier. This is actually kind of a cool linear graph here and showing me the dates along this axis showing me Hey maybe mid March is really good time to go it's pretty cheap compared to some great in $400 fares all of this is deftly not a good fair from Eleanor. By the way but I digress.

The other thing is pretty cool is going to show me how long I should travel for and this is really important as well something that you don't really see airfares that often is the length of the trip you can see if I was going to leave here I can pay $283. Spend right to leave to 27 come back 32 and get a pretty good fare wares if I was going to get paid more than $2. And this is gonna use different parts of dates differ return dates basically in different like the travel how long this medication be to get the best fare now get your flexible is going to save you a lot of money and it's pretty intuitive and you can just move your mouse right here and then when you click it's gonna show you the details for that particular day so it's pretty cool feature critical though laying it out.

I so that's how use being 2 main reasons again the spread out their predictor which is what is this one of the few sites that has it and then also on the flexible side if I wanna just peruse some possible destinations possible time to travel possible length of my trip this is a great way to get that information for particular destinations. So that's been traveled that rats apart to have look for depart 3 later on I make sure to rate comment and subscribe and check out ShoppingsSherlock.com thanks everyone talkies.
